There lived a lass named Dorothy, with a heart that yearned for more.
With her dog Toto by her side, her laughter echoed through the air,
But fate had an adventure in store, beyond her wildest dreams.
A tempestuous whirlwind swept through the land,
Uprooting trees and scattering houses with its mighty hand.
In its relentless fury, it snatched Dorothy's abode,
And carried it aloft, as if it were a fragile toy.
Over verdant hills and sparkling streams, they soared,
Until they reached a realm of wonder, never seen before.
A kaleidoscope of colors greeted Dorothy's gaze,
As she descended into a land of enchantment, a magical maze.
Emerald meadows stretched out before her eyes,
Dotted with vibrant flowers in every hue and size.
Towering trees with emerald leaves whispered secrets to the wind,
And the air was alive with the sweetest melodies, enchanting the mind.
Curious and eager, Dorothy set out to explore,
Her heart pounding with excitement, eager to learn more.
Along the Yellow Brick Road, her journey commenced,
With Toto scampering alongside, his tail wagging, amused.
As she skipped along the path, a peculiar sight appeared,
A scarecrow, perched atop a pole, with tattered clothes and a beard.
"Oh, pardon me, kind traveler," he spoke with a mournful sigh,
"I long for a brain, to think and comprehend the world nearby."
Dorothy's heart went out to the Scarecrow's plea,
"We shall journey together, and find what you seek, you'll see."
And so, they continued their adventure, side by side,
Their bond growing stronger, with each step and stride.
Through enchanted forests and bubbling brooks they roamed,
Until they encountered a Tin Man, rusted and alone.
"Alas, my dear companions," he creaked with a metallic groan,
"I desire a heart, to feel the warmth of love, to make my own."
Dorothy's compassion extended once more,
"We shall aid you, Tin Man, your wish we shall restore."
The trio embarked on their quest, united and true,
Determined to fulfill the Tin Man's dream, just as they'd planned to do.
As they journeyed through the whimsical land,
They crossed paths with a Cowardly Lion, trembling and unmanned.
"Oh, brave travelers," the Lion roared with a quivering voice,
"I crave the courage to face my fears, to make a noble choice."
Dorothy's eyes sparkled with a newfound light,
"Together we shall conquer your fears, and restore your might."
The unlikely companions, now four in number,
Embraced their differences, their friendship growing stronger.
Through treacherous storms and treacherous terrains they pressed,
Their destination drawing nearer, their spirits undressed.
The Emerald City shimmered on the horizon's edge,
Its emerald towers reaching for the heavens, a majestic pledge.
With anticipation coursing through their veins,
They approached the city gates, eager to ease their pains.
Dorothy's heart pounded with nervous delight,
For she knew that their quest was nearing its final flight.
In the heart of the city, they sought the Wizard's abode,
A magnificent palace, adorned with gems and gold.
With hope in their eyes, they stepped inside its grand hall,
Their hearts filled with anticipation, as they approached the Oracle.
A booming voice echoed through the chamber's vast expanse,
"What seek ye, travelers? State your desires, your chance."
Dorothy spoke with a voice both clear and bold,
"We seek a brain for the Scarecrow, a heart for the Tin Man, and courage for the Lion, we're told."
The Oracle's laughter filled the air, a mystical sound,
"Your journey's end is near, your wishes shall be found."
"Look within yourselves, for the answers you crave,
The qualities you seek, you already possess, be brave."
Disappointment washed over Dorothy and her friends,
For they had hoped for magic, a solution that transcends.
But the Oracle's words lingered in their minds,
A spark of self-belief, a newfound strength they find.
With newfound wisdom, they ventured forth,
To face the Wicked Witch, a formidable force.
Through perilous trials, they fought with all their might,
Dorothy's courage, the Scarecrow's wisdom, the Tin Man's heart, the Lion's fight.
In a climactic battle, good triumphed over bad,
The Wicked Witch vanquished, her evil plans unmasked.
With the wicked witch defeated, their hearts soared high,
They had found their true selves, beneath the open sky.
As their time in Oz drew to a close,
They bid farewell to their magical abode.
Dorothy longed for home, her family's embrace,
But the memories of Oz, she would forever chase.
With a final farewell to her companions so dear,
Dorothy clicked her ruby slippers, her heart filled with cheer.
In a swirl of colors, she vanished from sight,
Returning to Kansas, to her loved ones' delight.
And so, the tale of Dorothy and her Oz adventure concludes,
A timeless classic, where imagination blooms.
In the hearts of children, their spirits aflame,
The story of Little Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz, forever remains.
