History
The Nashville Assassins were founded in 2019 by a group of local businessmen led by Bill Hagerty, the former U.S. Senator from Tennessee. The team was originally named the Nashville Predators, but the name was changed to the Assassins in 2020.
The Assassins began play in the NAL in 2020. The team finished the season with a 5-7 record and missed the playoffs.
